at the bottom of the ocean...
We often ask God to show up. We pray prayers of rescue. Perhaps God would ask us to be that rescue, to be His body, to move for things that matter. He is not invisible when we come alive. I might be simple but more and more, I believe God works in love, speaks in love, is revealed in our love. I have seen that this week and honestly, it has been simple: Take a broken girl, treat her like a famous princess, give her the best seats in the house. Buy her coffee and cigarettes for the coming down, books and bathroom things for the days ahead. Tell her something true when all she's known are lies. Tell her God loves her. Tell her about forgiveness, the possibility of freedom, tell her she was made to dance in white dresses. All these things are true.

We are only asked to love, to offer hope to the many hopeless. We don't get to choose all the endings, but we are asked to play the rescuers. We won't solve all mysteries and our hearts will certainly break in such a vulnerable life, but it is the best way. We were made to be lovers bold in broken places, pouring ourselves out again and again until we're called home.

I'm sure I'm not the only person who has read this quote a billion times over. TWLOHA started my hoodie obsession a few years back. (haha, that sounds so materialistic) Anyway, TYLOHA also kicked off my love for Johnny Cash's song lyrics (I can't say I have much love for his vocals) and for online shopping. ((: And now that I'm reminded of it, I'm mcstalking their online shop right now. I'll check how much the postage is.

I'm so bored in school, I'm flooding my flist. >.<

I'm gonna go on a shopping spree on TWLOHA... I love sites like those. Self help, self discovery... et cetera. Or sites with tips and stuff.

Don't worry. =) If it makes you feel any better, I just made my third post for the day.

hahaha.newspapers don't seem to like you... >.< I have lost count of how many times your newspaper has been lost, late, undelivered or eaten by rabid dogs...

did that last one happen? ;)

Nah. I just have the shittest newspaper deliverer in the area. I swear I WILL call up the newsagent if he screws up again! Shame I don't have a rifle so I can shoot him from my bedroom window as he chucks the papers over the fence. xD
No rabid dogs in my area. Just next-door neighbours who talk to their dog while they hang the washing/are outside, which I can hear as I eat my food at the kitchen table! Bloody annoying! If I ever manage to get my own house, I'm going to soundproof it! I don't want to go 'Who's a woofy goofy blah blah blah' in a voice reserved for babies while I'm trying to digest my food, thanks.

I've been lusting after their hoodies for a LONG LONG time, but I never ever found out how much it cost to ship it. I'm at the site right now, though, debating on what to buy. =)
