Suh-lee-nuh gave me this quote, which I will post, because I love.

Life changes. You get it all lined up just the way you like it and then something beyond your control comes along and bumps you off center. How nice it would be if you could get everything just the way you want it and say, 'Okay, now, stay.' But nothing stays the same. You grow up, make friends, lose friends, go to college, lose track of people, meet new ones, and sometimes you ask yourself why.
But all I can tell you is the every single experience you go through like this changed you in some way. Every new person who comes into your life changes you. Every moral dilemma or emotional experience you come up against changes you. It`s your job, you decide how.
That`s how character is developed

People always leave us... C'est la vie? or God?

I love how you can't explain humour.
anyway, these made me laugh. [note. I can't remember if there were any expletives, but I didn't censor anything and I'm sure there are some. Also, sexual euphemisms... or just plain sexual references]

Professor: As you all know, IQ is 80% inherited.
Front row student, blurting: Oh shit, no wonder.

TSA agent: I'm sorry, miss. You can't bring coffee past the security checkpoint.
Lady in a hurry: It's okay, it's tea.
(this one is explainable...

Girl #1: So, you didn't go to the show?
Girl #2: Hell no.
Girl #1: My boyfriend tried to make me go.
Girl #2: Why would I want to go? I've slept with like, everyone there. Like I need to see a close up of all of the STDs I've narrowly avoided?

Librarianish-looking woman: He asked me if I wanted to blow his tuba, and I said, "sure!". It was amazingly harder than I thought it would be. And, he's bringing his organ tomorrow so I can play with it.

If it didn't make you laugh, you just didn't get it.
Overheard in New York.

i'm collecting quotes... I decided that as all my long stories are on hiatus, I should look for something to write one-shots about to keep me in practice.

I realized something today, zero is a neutral number. Isn't an addition to anything, But still doesn't take anything away. Zero took the easy way out. Not choosing a side, Not stating it's opinion, Never raising it's voice, Or standing up for what it believed in. It never caused any problems, But it never amounted to anything either.

+ Trista's loving Honourshill. I think every girl.. or at least, every girl who writes, will be able to relate to Ayah. I think we write because we have something that needs to get out. Experiences we want to translate into words... Something we regretted not putting right; so we put our characters through similar situations, hoping that through their success, we know how it would've felt for us. We'll know how it feels to get it right. How it feels to have that best friend, to go through troubles but see the light at the end of a tunnel.
And it doesn't hurt that Drew has got to be the best friend ever.

+ thanks a BILLION to S-K, who bought me the 1111AM wristband. =)

x. I got this link from someone on my flist. Do read it... It's fascinating. Meet the 17 personalities of my mind and how I ruthlessly killed them one by one.

x. Quotes of the day.
jasmine: who's driven you home before?
me: adam and the GPS. Jason and Frederick. Cheryl and Frederick. See a pattern here? Anyone without a GPS needs Frederick in the car.
(i realised that I forgot Kelvin, who drove me home on friday and navigated himself... with the help of a lot of red lights. and God of course, controlling those red lights...)

me: NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO LIKE JACE BETTER THAN TRAY
kat: except rhea
kat: Tray is OH MY ELECTRIC LIGHT SOCKETS
kat: whereas Jace is only oh my Electric Light Sockets

adam: it's a nice car, but it's unrealistic. so we go for the Nissan GTRx's
me: unrealistic?! One day, I'll get an Aston Martin and that'll show you
adam: just remember me then so I can say I've driven one

me: I rip from youtube. so if anyone's gonna get sued, it'll be youtube
david: a very malaysian way of thinking

marcus: where are you from
me: singapore
marcus: I thought you were gonna say some fancy British country
me: British? People think I'm from the US
rachel: yeah, cos you've got an accent
me: ohyeah, I watch too much Disney Channel
marcus: yeah, you sound like Lizzie McGuire

x. "I don't like Taryn, and I'm sorry i compared you to her. I mean, she's got fantabulous one-liners, and a similar way of approaching things, but you are infinitely way more gorgeous and nicer than she is."-Kat
But I LIKED being compared to Taryn! haha. Imma kick ass, baby! In fact, I'd prefer being compared to Taryn than maya- Taryn got Tray didn't she... True, she slept with him first and I wouldn't have done that... but TRAY EVANS.
You can compare me to Taylor Hampton. It'll be the hugest compliment. Except Taryn is amazingly gorgeous, bby. haha. But so is taylor!

x. CDS. Church. Dinner. Ramesh drove me home. For the first time, I was the first to be dropped off and not the last! Because we had dinner at Sunny Bank on the south side.
Met David today. He does marine science (aquatech and something something...). And is the only person I've met here who has good music taste (and sarcasm to boot)! AC/DC, the Beatles, Hendrix, Step Up 2 SOundtrack (*laughs*) et cetera. I told him that his taste reminded me of my dad's, and he complimented my dad's music taste. haha.

x. physics test tomorrow!
I checked my bio marks yesterday. Imagine my ASTONISHMENT when I saw that I got a seven. 90%!! PRAISE GOD. I didn't study. I was PROCRASTINATING the night before and couldn't absorb. Prayed like crazy and went in the next day hoping for the best. I thought I'd just scraped a six.... It's amazing. really...
anyway, like I said, physics test tomorrow. Can Callie do it again? of course she can! With God's help. ohyeah, let's DO this.
